Football fans won't have to wait much longer to review the 2019 regular-season schedule.

The NFL is releasing its 2019 schedule at 7 p.m. Wednesday, leaving plenty of time for leaks - and there already is another involving the Bears.

If that news is correct, the annual high-profile matchup between the Super Bowl champions and a top contender is likely to be pushed to another of the primetime games during Week 1. Due to the Redskins' third-place finish in the NFC East last season, the team will take on the third-place teams from the NFC South and NFC West, as well.

The full, grand reveal is scheduled for both NFL.com and NFL Network.

Seattle will face the following teams at home: Cardinals, Rams, 49ers, Buccaneers, Ravens, Bengals and Vikings.

The rebuilding Dolphins could have at least one marquee game as the National Football League reportedly had been considering scheduling a Thanksgiving Day game at Dallas. We will learn that on Wednesday night.

Follow Seahawks Wire on Facebook and Twitter for the latest on the schedule release.

The Thursday night season-opener is expected to feature the Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers as a way to celebrate 100 years of the NFL.
