During a development update stream on Twitch, Rebellion revealed that they've got more WW2 sniping on the docket, starting with a remastered version of Sniper Elite v2 due later this year. It's a follow up to Sniper Elite 4 and there's a chance it could be next-gen or at least cross-gen looking at the timing.
The other major takeaway is the announcement of "the next major title in the Sniper Elite series". It's interesting to see a game like Sniper Elite coming on VR though.
Platforms have not yet been announced for the upcoming mainline entry mentioned above, and new details aren't expected to be shared on that project until 2020, so it's unclear whether or not that one also stands a chance of launching on Switch. So yeah, this seems like a game targeting next-generation platforms.
