Shannon rose to reality TV fame after her daughter Alana Thompson, better known by her nickname "Honey Boo Boo", was featured on TLC's "Toddlers and Tiaras".

The outlet reported that the substance was listed by officials as crack cocaine and 'the paraphernalia was noted by officials as showing evidence of crack cocaine residue and was determined to be recently used'. The series, which details her drastic weight loss via gastric sleeve surgery and her relationship with Doak, had its season three premiere earlier this month.

But in a trailer released late last month, it appears that Shannon and Doak are going through a rough patch.

This is not the first time Shannon has taken the spotlight for controversial issues.

Brunson said Shannon took "responsibility" for the drugs and drug paraphernalia since it was her vehicle, but both are charged with felony drug possession and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, which is a misdemeanor. They also found a green pill bottle containing a white-controlled substance in the glove compartment. Doak was also charged with domestic violence harassment. Before Geno came along, June had reportedly reunited with her ex Mark McDaniel in 2014, who served 10 years in prison for molesting June's daughter Anna "Chickadee" Cardwell, 24, when she was eight years old. The show was cancelled after it was learned that Shannon was dating a registered sex offender. She is now starring in WE tv's Mama June: From Not to Hot - season 3 premiered on Friday.

Mama June has yet to comment publicly on her arrest. "To me it's a little unfair, " he said of the attention around the arrests.
