Redmi Note 7 will go on sale today.

To recall, Redmi Note 7 was launched in India alongside the Redmi Note 7 Pro.

To confirm if the device on the left is indeed the Redmi 7, we reverse-searched the watermarked IMEI. This hints at the imminent launch of the Redmi phone. The TENAA listing reveals the key specs and a picture of the Redmi 7. So, it is safe to conclude that the device on the left as well as in the TENAA listing is the Redmi 7.

The Redmi Note 7 will be made available in three colours - Onyx Black, Ruby Red and Sapphire Blue.

The Redmi 7 appears with a plastic body unlike the Redmi Note 7 series, this is fair considering the Redmi 7 will be an entry-level phone and should cost similar to the predecessor Redmi 6 which launched in India previous year. It is fitted with a 6.3-inch FHD+ display with a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels and a waterdrop notch to provide room for the selfie camera.

As the image above shows, the Xiaomi Redmi 7 and Redmi Note 7 are similar from the front as well since both have a U-shaped notch. The phone recently appeared on TENAA that revealed the design as well as some specifications of it.

The Redmi 7 has a 4,000mAh battery and charges via the micro USB port. The phone is driven by the 2.2GHz Snapdragon 660 octa-core SoC paired with Adreno 512 graphics, and 3GB and 4GB RAM options.

The pricing of the device starts at Rs. 9,999 for the 3GB RAM and 32GB storage variant, and Rs. 11,999 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant. The exact processor information is not known at the moment, but it could be the Snapdragon 439 SoC that was launched a year ago with Dual 4G support.

On the camera front, the Redmi 7 is said to include two sensors on the back where one will be a 12MP sensor. It will sport an 8 MP camera on the front with the dual-camera setup at the back including a 12 MP sensor.
