Some, however, insisted that the criticism of Meghan Markle was far from being unwarranted.

While a guest on Good Morning Britain earlier today, the actor discussed the last time he came out in Meghan's defense and also explained the reason why!

"I've said this before, I'm gonna say it 1,000 times-Idris Elba should be Bond". ". I've seen it, when the press can turn on you for sort of ridiculous reasons and for nearly nothing and it seemed.to be a little unjust since she hadn't done anything except just happen to live her life".

George and his wife Amal Clooney attended Meghan and Harry's wedding in May past year and are said to be very close to the couple. "It seemed to be a little unjust since she hadn't done anything except just happen to live her life".

More from our chat later in the show.

Last month Clooney claimed Meghan was being chased just like Princess Diana and suggested history was repeating itself.

George's recent interview comes weeks after he defended Meghan against the invasive paparazzi, saying, "They're just chasing Meghan Markle everywhere, she's been pursued and vilified".

George Clooney says the Duchess of Sussex is being vilified for just "living her life".

"It is a privilege to play a part in a project that will draw attention to incredible young women who are the future leaders of our world", she said, according to Scobie.

As for her relationship with Prince Harry, George described the pair as "a really wonderful, loving couple".

Clooney argued that he is a father of twins so he is already very busy enough as it is!
