‘Avengers: Endgame’ co-director Joe Russo to visit India

Tom Holland joins the Russo brothers' next film Cherry Tom Holland, Russo Brothers Will Follow Avengers With Non-Marvel Film Cherry

"Come April 1st and 2nd - Joe Russo, one half of the famed "Russo Brothers" directorial duo of the most anticipated movie Avengers: Endgame will be coming to Mumbai to engage with the Indian fans", the source tells us.

The much-awaited film is the second part of Joe and his brother Anthony's two-part series within the Marvel Cinematic Universe which started with last year's blockbuster Avengers: Infinity War.

Published previous year, Cherry is an autobiographical novel which follows an American soldier who returns home from the War in Iraq with PTSD, becomes addicted to opiates, and begins robbing banks. It is being said that Russo will visit Mumbai in April to meet fans.

Production is expected to begin this summer (19). A prediction that is perhaps a safe one to make considering the hype around the forthcoming Avengers: Endgame that is set to break box office records when it releases later this month.

Holland has previously worked with the Russo brothers on several Marvel films, including "Captain America: Civil War", "Avengers: Infinity War" and the upcoming "Avengers: Endgame".

Walker was convicted in 2011 and is scheduled to be released in 2020.

The film might be a change of direction for them, but it seems there associations with the Marvel work remain strong as Variety is reporting that Spider-Man himself, Tom Holland, will be joining the pair to play the lead role in the movie. It comprises 22 films, including Spider-Man: Homecoming and recently released Captain Marvel. And now, Indian fans and others across the world can not wait to witness the grand conclusion in Avengers: Endgame which will release on 26th April.
