Wide receiver Antonio Brown asks Steelers for trade

Whether Brown knows he is being traded, or whether he is simply trying to push the Steelers towards moving him, remains to be seen. Although Brown is the best receiver "available" this offseason, he comes with a lot of baggage and he's going to cost a lot in a trade.

It is important to note he's still under contract with the Steelers and they have the leverage.

The NFL wide receiver was cited after being pulled over for driving in excess of 100 miles per hour in a 45 miles per hour zone on McKnight Road in Ross Township back on November 8, 2018.

Getting him from the Steelers, however, could be hard for top personnel executive Howie Roseman. With Howie Roseman clearly intent on adding weapons and explosive players, could the Eagles have interest in acquiring the Steelers star wideout, Antonio Brown?

Antonio Brown appears to have confirmed he wants to move on from the Pittsburgh Steelers this off-season.

With all the needs this team has and Carson Wentz' impending contract extension, are the Eagles prepared to commit $12.6 million to Brown if does hit the trade market?

Fitting Brown under the salary cap, if he were to stay on his current deal, would be possible for the Eagles.

Committing $12.6 million of that to Brown, however, seems unlikely. He's a four-time first-team All-Pro and seven-time Pro Bowler who has racked up more than 9,000 receiving yards and 67 touchdowns in the last six seasons.

Maybe he'll have a new team by then.
