Fifteen-time Grammy victor Alicia Keys will host the event, and she's the first woman in over a decade to do so.

If that's not reason enough to tune in on Sunday night, the list of performers at the GRAMMYs is sure to make this event the hottest ticket in town.

St. Vincent is nominated for Best Rock Song for "Masseduction" and Best Alternative Music Album Masseduction.

Also nominated three times this year, Scott is up for Best Rap Performance and Best Rap Song for "Sicko Mode" as well as Best Rap Album for Astroworld. Although her musical career began four years ago, Cara had a string of hit songs off of "Know-It-All" that stretched well into 2017.

"If something's really important to you and you really, really care about it, don't forget to just soak it in", she continued, adding, "Because sometimes you can keep working for something and you do it, you do it right, but it doesn't mean that you necessarily super let yourself go and let yourself enjoy it".

The music business will be partying ahead of the show at celebrations including the pre-Grammy gala hosted by the Recording Academy and Clive Davis, the Family Tree Entertainment music managers pre-Grammy brunch and the Music Is Universal artist showcase hosted by Lucian Grainge.

Keys announced that she'd be hosting the show in a video posted to her YouTube channel.

Rapper Kendrick Lamar leads the 2019 field with eight Grammy nominations, followed by fellow hip-hop artist Drake follows with seven. Brandi Carlile is up for six awards, while Lady Gaga, Cardi B, Maren Morris and H.E.R. each have five nominations. Also, current nominee Dua Lipa will perform with Grammy victor St. Vincent.

What to expect: One person who won't be in attendance of the show is Ariana Grande, who reportedly had a dispute with show producers over what she should perform.
