After Sevilla signed Barcelona striker Munir El Haddadi, Atletico could have a clear run towards Morata, formerly of Real Madrid.

The club to benefit the most from this merry-go-round of transfers may be Barcelona, who are in need of squad depth after Munir signed with Sevilla.

Munir had spent the last two seasons on loan at first Valencia in 2016-17 and then Deportivo Alaves in 2017-18 after making his Barcelona debut as an 18-year-old during the 2014-15 campaign.

However, the clubs have instead reached an agreement for him to join the club in the January window, with Barcelona annoucing they have received a €1,050,000 fee.

A Spain youth worldwide, Munir has been capped once for the senior side, coming on for a 13-minute appearance against Macedonia in 2014.

He's racked up just 392 minutes playing time this season across three competitions - LaLiga, Champions League and Copa del Rey, and scored two goals. He says the club will look at several options.

Bayern Munich are eyeing up a January loan move for struggling Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata.

Munir's transfer is subject to a successful medical and the news of his move came swiftly after Sevilla revealed they had agreed a deal with Ajax to bring in Wober.
