Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri feels his side need to sign new two players during the January transfer market.

Chelsea are said to have quickly rebuffed the interest, but according to the London Evening Standard, Barcelona are considering making a second offer as they look to land the South American. While the Brazil worldwide ultimately made a decision to stay at Stamford Bridge, owing largely to the arrival of Sarri as head coach, Barcelona instead signed Malcom from Bordeaux. Firstly, the Premier League heavyweights value Willian higher than what has been proposed as part of the deal.

Sarri, though, thinks that the Blues star will be staying put at Stamford Bridge.

Per the Daily Mail, Barcelona submitted a player-cash-deal worth £50m for Willian that would have seen Malcom, who they only signed last summer for £38m, head in the opposite direction.

However, the 21-year-old winger has rarely played for the Catalans, with only five appearances in La Liga.

Asked about the Blaugrana's reported interest in Willian, Sarri said: "I didn't receive anything yesterday".

"As you know very well I am not in control of the transfer market", Sarri told a press conference today. "Normally he wants the ball into his feet, he must improve his movement when he doesn't have the ball and he will have the potential to score more goals". "But he's really very important for us so I think it's impossible for us to lose him in January".
