Felder has been playing on the Toronto Raptors G-League team ever since his demotion.

According to the report by TMZ, the 23-year-old was taken into custody in Toronto after someone claimed he, "got violent and made threats during a night out".

3, 2018, Raptors 905 guard Kay Felder was charged by police in connection with an allegation of domestic violence. The woman reportedly was able to contact a family member, who then called police, and she received medical treatment from paramedics for marks on her neck, per TMZ.

National Basketball Association point guard Kay Felder has been arrested for assaulting and choking a woman according to TMZ.

Felder is the Horizon League career assists leader from his time at Oakland University, and at only 23 years old, could have made his impact on an National Basketball Association team with enough hard work.

We've reached out to Felder for comment - so far, no word back.

Having been demoted to the G-league back in October, former Atlanta Hawks second-round pick Kay Felder finds himself in some hot water up north. He's now released from custody but is due back in court later this month.

The NBA is one of the most critical professional sports league when it comes to matters of domestic violence so it's questionable whether or not Felder has played his last game for an NBA team.

The 5-foot-9 guard appeared in 42 games for the Cavs in 2016-17, averaging 4.0 points and 1.4 assists.
