Obama reveals that she and her husband sought marriage counseling, something she writes was her "pivot point" and "moment of self-arrest". She said her entire body "buzzed with fury", when she first watched.

"What I learned about myself is that, my happiness is up to me, and I started working out more". She has a sold out book tour scheduled with stops all over the country.

"It was depleted, everything was old and exhausted, and I came in and I had to fix it. [Michelle] talked about safety..."

Obama has a new memoir, Becoming, coming out November 13, which contains more information on her "journey to motherhood", according to GMA.

Michelle Obama, the woman who served alongside husband Barack Obama as America's first family for two terms, has always been a beloved and relatable figure in the country.

While Obama has largely refrained from criticizing Trump, she did compare his presidency to "bad parenting" in April and speculated that the reason Clinton lost was that "people weren't comfortable voting for a woman sadly".

In the book, Michelle Obama says she'll never forgive Donald Trump for what he did to her husband.

Former first lady Michelle Obama says she can never forgive President Donald Trump for spreading rumors that her husband was not born in America, according to excerpts from her upcoming book that was obtained by The Washington Post.

Trump famously challenged Obama's birth certificate until the president released a copy of his long-form document in April 2011 at a press conference.

In her memoir, Becoming, Barack Obama's wife also denounces Mr Trump's "birther" campaign, which questioned her husband's citizenship, calling it bigoted, unsafe and "deliberately meant to stir up the wingnuts and kooks".

Mrs. Obama also accuses Trump of using body language to "stalk" Clinton during an election debate. But she was then impressed by his "rich, even sexy baritone" and by his "strange, stirring combination" of serenity and power.

"Well, I'll give you a little controversy back".

Asked on Friday about her comments, Trump did not answer directly and instead took a swipe at Barack Obama.

The 54-year-old expresses disbelief over the fact that so many women chose a "misogynist" over Hillary Clinton, whom she calls "an exceptionally qualified female candidate".
