If you haven't heard of Stardew Valley, it's basically Harvest Moon but a pixelated version. The folks over at The Secret Police, the studio taking care of the mobile port, are still working on finishing the Android version of Stardew Valley, so at this time we can't say for sure when it's going to be released. "The main difference is that it has been rebuilt for touch-screen gameplay on iOS (new UI, menu systems and controls)".

Chucklefish Games and ConcernedApe made a surprise announcement today when they revealed that the award-winning farming sim Stardew Valley is slated to release on iOS devices later in October. The Android version is coming later, but there's no official launch date yet.

Stardew Valley sees you moving from the big city to your (recently inherited) grandfather's old, run-down farm in sleepy Pelican Town.

The mobile version lacks mod support and multiplayer content, but adds touch-related tweaks.

The cool part, is that players of the PC version will be able to transfer their save via iTunes and continue expanding their existing farms.

Stardew Valley is finally coming to mobile devices.

This studio is also working on completing an Android port of Stardew Valley, although there is now no release date for this version.

The mobile version will offer players the full game, which is nearly identical to the PC version. Mods are not supported. It will feature no additional in-app purchasing and will be released on October 24. And you can import save games from Windows PC or Mac.
