Mobile confirms iPhone XR pricing ahead of pre-orders

Apple's cheaper iPhone XR to generate more revenue Analyst Apple Suppliers Continue to Remain Cautious – Believe the iPhone XR Might Not Be a ‘Home Run’

This phone features plenty of new technology including a 6.1-inch Liquid Retina edge-to-edge display, wireless charging and new A12 Bionic processor which is now outperforming all of its Android rivals in speed tests. Priced at Rs 76,900, iPhone XR sales will start on October 26 in more than 50 countries including India.

The iPhone XR also has a slightly larger screen than the iPhone XS at 15.5cm, and has an LCD screen instead of the XS's OLED screen.

Pricing aside, the Apple iPhone XR gives up the one important feature that has now become a hallmark of every modern flagship smartphone - the AMOLED display. Of course, given that we are 10-months away from an announcement, this is still subject to change.

From a wide range of colour options to bezel-less notched display and fastest Apple chipset, the iPhone XR is still in the big leagues when compared against the Android rivals. It comes in several color options including Yellow, White, Coral, Black, Blue, and PRODUCT (RED). The Apple Online Store is open and ready for preorder business. Some reports from last month have suggested that Apple changed suppliers due to manufacturing issues with the iPhone XR.

The 6.1-inch iPhone XR starts at $749 for 64 gigabytes.

The Apple iPhone XR is powered by hexa-core processor and it packs 64GB of internal storage that can not be expanded.

Apple suppliers have reportedly faced issues ramping up supply of the iPhone XR's Liquid Retina LCD display. Unlike the two XS models, the iPhone XR features a single rear camera, Haptic Touch (rather than 3D Touch), LTE Advanced, an aluminum frame, and an IP67 water-resistance rating.

What made you pick the iPhone XR over one of the XS models (or vice versa)? The iPhone XR also supports Face ID and will ship with iOS 12.
