If you don't know too much about the Monster Hunter series, check out Brian's review of Monster Hunter World here!

Monster Hunter: Stories initially released for the Nintendo 3DS in 2016, the Japanese mobile version followed shortly in 2017 as a Japan only exclusive release.

CAPCOM launched the Monster Hunter Stories game for iOS and Android devices on Tuesday with language support in English, French, Italian, German, and Spanish. It will now be available on Android and iOS all over the world and this has happened nearly ten months since its release in Japan, which is the publisher Capcom's home country. While mainline Monster Hunter games focus on defeating monsters and harvesting their materials, Monster Hunter Stories asks players to befriend monsters and become close with them. Living in a remote village away from the awful hunters who sought to kill wyverns, riders instead live in harmony with the monsters, forming bonds with the creatures and using them as allies in battles.

You can find Monster Hunter Stories on the Apple App Store and Google Play for $19.99.

In terms of the battle features, players can now recruit countless Monsters or "Monsties" and improve their bonds with them which is fundamental for your adventures.

For those who don't want to buy it, you can still have a try for the game as a demo version is also available, of course, it is free of charge. Take your hero and the Monsties you've raised into battles with other Riders!

This app features the same story as the handheld console version. Build a team of your favorites to challenge other players. New improvements include lovely high-resolution graphics, improved user interface, and a new auto-save feature!

Multiplayer (Network Battles, etc.) is available only after a certain amount of game progress.
