The hit cooperative, sci-fi action game, Warframe, is coming to Nintendo Switch! Players take on the role of a Tenno, a race of ancient warriors, and have a chance to master the Warframe armor.

Warframe on Nintendo Switch is happening, meaning you'll be able to play one of the best free games on the handiest console.

There's also hundreds of different weapons and thousands of customisation options, that allow you to mod the equipment however you want.

For those unaware, Panic Button has been porting a lot of titles over to the Nintendo Switch lately, with the developer's most recent project being the creation of a Switch version for Bethesda and MachineGames' Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus. You can tell from the gameplay shown in the trailer that the performance and visual effects aren't quite up to par with the game's current look on other platforms when playing in handheld mode. No release date has been given for the game, which has been in active service on PC and console for five years.

Panic Button recently teased that it is working on a major Switch port and that the title would be announced this month. The game is now without a release date or even window, but when we know, you will know.
