The monarch was due to return to London on Monday before a busy schedule of events including a meeting with US President Donald Trump on Friday at her Windsor Castle home.

The family were heading off for a private afternoon tea at Clarence House after Prince Louis' christening when, absolutely hilariously, the little princess didn't drop eye contact with the member of press who was getting pictures outside the Royal Chapel at St James's Palace.

Princes William and Harry's tragic childhoods are well known: The brothers were just 15 (William) and 12 (Harry) when their mother was killed in a auto crash in Paris.

William and Harry wore matching blue suits.

Kate Middleton went with an icy blue dress by her go-to designer, Alexander McQueen, and a hat by Sean Barrett.

Guests were served slices of fruit cake from a tier of William and Kate's eight-tier wedding cake.

More than 2,200 people packed out Westminster Abbey for the service, with dignitaries including Defence Secretary Gavin Williamson and the Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby attending.

Of course, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, aka Harry and Meghan, also showed up holding hands and looking very happy, and quite frankly I'm like that annoying friend who continuously asks a newlywed couple "when is it your turn to pop one out?".

George, 4 and Charlotte, 3, were there for their brother's big day.

The youngest royal member had his christening and his family came together to help the little prince celebrate the blessed event.

Eager to make the most of her moment in the spotlight, she even turned back on the hospital steps to offer a final greeting to the crowds.

The display was watched by the Royal family and the Prime Minister. The simple dress featured a sleeve and a v-shaped neckline, which she paired with a statement headpiece. That was Prince Harry's plan for his nephew, Prince Louis of Cambridge, as a gift for his christening. She also wore her hair in a low chignon, topped with a white, flowered headpiece.
