The massive rock slammed through the window of their 2002 Toyota Avalon and both women were pronounced dead at the scene. As the vehicle's tires bounced on the tracks, the impact jostled a huge boulder - with an estimated weight of reportedly 800-pounds - free from the bed.

Using security camera footage, police were able to determine that the truck was owned by Czeck Services and that 33 year old Joe P. Czeck was behind the wheel at the time of the fatal accident.

Karen Christiansen, 67, and her 32-year-old daughter, Jena Christiansen, were the driver and passenger in the vehicle and died at the scene.

"If you tried to duplicate this millions of times, I don't think you'd be able to do that", Rosemount Police Chief Mitchell Scott said, the outlet reported. The Star Tribune reports Czeck is charged in Dakota County with criminal vehicular homicide and criminal vehicular operation.

Chief Scott says witnesses heard the rock hit the road and then strike the vehicle. He's scheduled to appear in court on Friday.

Officers arrived to the scene Monday afternoon after receiving word of the crash, police said, and found that the auto was hit with a massive rock.

"You're required by law to have whatever you are hauling secured in your vehicle. That's why it's so important to slow down and make sure loads are secure, because you're taking other people's lives in your hands". In the statement, he called Jena the most "amazing" woman that he has ever met before saying that she made him into the man that he is today.

Surveillance video from nearby businesses shows Czeck's truck carrying the large, unsecured boulder while traveling south on Rich Valley Boulevard.

Jena's boyfriend, Ryan Kilian, said, "The world has lost an angel".
