It turns out that we are waiting for another top phone at an inflated price-but the HTC is waiting for another failed financial report for the year 2018.
HTC has released more details of its planned blockchainsmartphone. While blockchain and cryptocurrencies are nascent for the tech world, the Taiwanese giant is set to use Exodus as a node to "double and triple the number of nodes of Ethereum and Bitcoin".
"I want to say it will be available definitely everywhere outside of China". It does not sound so, as the upcoming HTC Exodus sounds like a niche device aimed at a particular group of users, but we're yet to see whether it will have any mass-market appeal.
Bitmark has also partnered with HTC for the phone, but it is unknown what the collaboration will bring.
Phil Chen, HTC's Decentralisation Chief Officer, told The Verge, in an interview published this week, that the Exodus can be expected toward the latter part of the year, with an official price announcement coming around the end of Q3.

In terms of the unexpected CryptoKitty support, the executive hopes that the gamification of the blockchain will entice "no-coiners" to give the Exodus a shot. Consequently, the so-called chain of custody potentially helps to verify the identity of digital assets or, in the case of the CryptoKitties game, digital furballs. The company has now revealed some more information about the device.
HTC Corp (宏達電) yesterday said that it would release the world's first blockchain-powered smartphone to early adopters by September, followed by a wider release toward the end of this year.
HTC has not revealed any other specifications related to the Exodus. The game, which is built on blockchain technology, will allow you to collect, breed, and even sell one-of-a-kind creatures called CryptoKitties - in short, it's an experiment with blockchain gaming, and it could pull in some of the folks who are interested in blockchain but aren't insane about cryptocurrency.
