She started her morning attending a service for the RAF at Westminster Abbey alongside her husband, The Queen and other senior royals, before the royals returned to Buckingham Palace.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have hit the ground running in Ireland on their very first overseas tour as newlyweds.

Today, the RAF is engaged on some 13 missions across 26 countries and is heavily committed on operations both at home and overseas.

She is also making headlines for her choice of Emilia Wickstead, who reportedly claimed that the duchess' wedding gown - a couture piece created by Givenchy's artistic director, Clare Waight Keller - bore some resemblance to one of Wickstead's own designs.

Wickstead addressed the commentary in an Instagram post: "Her Royal Highness, the Duchess of Sussex looked absolutely attractive on her wedding day and I have the utmost admiration and respect for her".

"I hope he stays like this", Middleton told the archbishop of Canterbury, the Rev. Justin Welby, who baptized Prince Louis in the Chapel Royal at St James' Palace. He appears to be on the verge of laughter when Kate-decked out in pale teal Alexander McQueen (her go-to designer) and a matching floral fascinator-catches him in the act.

Meghan's elegant dress was by Dior.

The trip will take place over 10-11 July, where the Duke and Duchess will "meet the people of Dublin and will visit organisations which are central to Irish life".

Harry and Meghan's engagements will include official meetings with Taoiseach Leo Varadkar and President Michael D Higgins.

The Queen, 92, was front and centre for the RAF events.

It came just a day after the royal family celebrated the christening of Prince Louis.

The anniversary brought the royal fab four together again.

(Picture: AFP) The tribute to the RAF, which became the world's first independent air force when it was founded as a separate entity from the British Army and Royal Navy in 1918, began with a service at Westminster Abbey.

It played a key role in defending the skies of Britain during WWII, when the Queen was still a teen and her father, King George VI, was on the throne.

The flypast was a centrepiece of events celebrating the RAF's centenary, with lines of invited personnel given a prime viewing position directly outside the palace gates.
