Vince Vaughn was arrested on Sunday morning for DUI and resisting arrest.

The Hollywood Reporter says Vaughn was stopped at a DUI checkpoint in Hermosa Beach around 1 a.m. PST Sunday. His passenger was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication and resisting arrest. Both posted bail and have been released from jail.

This is not, however, Vaughn's first arrest; back in 2001 he was arrested after taking part in a bar brawl in Wilmington, North Carolina, in which actor Steve Buscemi ("Boardwalk Empire") received multiple stab wounds.

Representatives for Vaughn did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

Vaughn most recently starred in last year's violent action film Brawl in Cell Block 99 as a former boxer who finds himself in prison after running afoul of drug gangs. He will appear in the upcoming WWE biopic "Fighting With My Family", now in post-production, which is set for a 2019 release. He can also be seen in the second season of HBO's "True Detective" as Frank Semyon.
