New Stranger Things books to shed light on the Upside Down

‘Stranger Things’ Books Set For Fall Debut From Penguin Random House STRANGER THINGS Prequel Novel, and Other Books, Are Coming!

Official plot details for Stranger Things 3 are still under wraps, though executive producer Shawn Levy revealed that the third season would take place one year after the second season during the summer of 1985.

Deadline reports that Penguin Random House with partner with Netflix on a worldwide publishing deal for books based on Netflix's most talked about series, Stranger Things. Earlier releases this fall include a behind the scenes companion entitled Stranger Things: World Turned Upside Down and an as-yet untitled gift book which will offer, according to the publisher, "advice, wisdom, and warnings from the Stranger Things world".

The first two titles, due out this fall, will be a behind-the-scenes companion volume and a hardcover gift book intended for younger readers. Meanwhile, the prequel tie-in novel is flawless for everyone impatient for Stranger Things season 3, which will likely not hit Netflix screens until early 2019 at best.

The new novel, which has yet to be named, will explore Terry's" "intersection with the MKUltra program" and we'll "get to know and love her in a whole new way'.

The novel is set to be written by YA author Gwenda Bond, best known for her Cirque American series.

Even more titles aimed at adults and younger readers are set to arrive later in 2019.
