Between 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. local time on Wednesday, all participating US and District of Columbia locations will give people one Doritos Locos Taco for free. The Golden State Warriors accomplished that twice against the Cleveland Cavaliers on their way to another championship.

This is part of the fast-food chain's NBA promotion, where if a basketball team during the current championship "steals" an away game, Taco Bell would give away free tacos.

Maybe a taco will cheer up the sad Cavs fans.

Any substitutions may carry a fee.

Customers can come in to any participating location and get one free Doritos Locos Taco per person, no purchase necessary, while supplies last. There are three Doritos shell types as well: regular, Cool Ranch, and Fiery.

In past years, Taco Bell has held a similar "Steal a Base, Steal a Taco" promotion during the World Series.
