The way that this is set up could indicate that Babylon's Fall will incorporate some multiplayer mechanics, perhaps supporting four players at once, but that remains to be seen until Square Enix and PlatinumGames share more info on the project.

The newest trailer for Kingdom Hearts III dropped yesterday and gave fans of the video game franchise a glimpse into where Sora, Donald Duck, and Goofy are heading this time around. But we'll probably have to wait for more info about what Platinum is doing next.

Babylon's Fall is scheduled to be released in 2019 for the PlayStation 4 and PC.

The world's of Final Fantasy XIV and Monster Hunter: World are coming together under one roof this summer in what appears to be a collaboration that pits Final Fantasy characters against beasts from Monster Hunter.
