With current tools, almost any iPhone can have its contents dumped within hours.

Apple is expected to include at least one LCD model in its 2019 plans rather than shifting to an OLED-only lineup to give consumers a more affordable option. However, Grayshift has reportedly created a way to circumvent the upcoming iPhone security tool even prior to its wider release in the future, according to a report from Motherboard.

Apple will unveil three new iPhone X successors in September, two of which feature a high-end OLED display and one that will have an LCD screen.

The biggest question for investors is what the mix will be between the three devices. And with the iPhone X, the $999 it starts at has been seen as a reason why some have balked at purchasing the smartphone. If Apple sells more OLED iPhones, the iPhone will have a higher average price.

"Industry executives with direct knowledge of production plans said Apple initially wanted roughly equal production of the two screen types", The Wall Street Journal reports. Executives have recently said that the iPhone X is the top-selling model, but that alone doesn't say much about the iPhone X's performance: Apple is now selling two models of the iPhone 8, but only one iPhone X version.

All three predict Apple to launch three new iPhones this fall: an upgraded version of the iPhone X, a version of the iPhone X with a bigger screen, and the lower-cost LCD iPhone with facial recognition. Here's a graphic that shows what his iPhone lineup prediction looks like.
